Very many thanks to everyone who took part in this year’s pick. As you can see, we collected at least as much as in previous years, with a noticeable increase in the number of drink cans - so draw your own conclusions

Many thanks once again to our stalwart team of pickers. It was a rather more pleasant experience this year with sunshine instead of the Beast from the East and most of the verges were finished within the first few days. As you can see, we collected about the same amount of rubbish as last year, give or take the odd bicycle. Maybe we should revive the "Don't be a Tosser" campaign.  Same again next year...
